History
In August of 2001, after 19 years of practice in the information technology
and information security industries, Jerome Alston founded Marjen LLC. Since then the
company has grown to include several customers in the public and private sector.
Credentials
Marjen was granted Minority Business Enterprise status by the state of Maryland in early
2003 and was granted Small Disadvantaged Business 8(a) status by the U.S. Small Business
Administration in early 2004.
Several of Marjen's employees hold industry recognized certifications such as the
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification which is
administered by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium.
Marjen also has staff that hold Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) credentials.
